Hi, I’m Aya from LITTLE FUJI Design Studio.

Today I’m excited to share that LITTLE FUJI Design Studio has officially relocated from New Zealand to Sydney, Australia!

About LITTLE FUJI Design Studio

LITTLE FUJI characters FUJI and Kiwi standing in front of the Sydney skyline, surrounded by Australian plants and a sign reading “Australia.”

LITTLE FUJI is a design studio specialising in Wix website design, as well as Rive animation, 3D design, and graphic design.

I work in both Japanese and English, and now, as a Japanese web designer based in Australia, I’ll continue helping clients in Japan, Australia, and other countries with their website projects.

I also created a little moving announcement animation in Rive, so feel free to interact with it below 👇

Our Website Domain Has Also Changed Following the Move to Australia

Along with relocating to Australia, LITTLE FUJI Design Studio has also obtained an Australian country-specific domain!

From now on, our primary domain will be:

The New Zealand domain we previously used, https://www.littlefuji.nz/, is now registered as a secondary domain, so anyone visiting the old domain will automatically be redirected to the new primary domain.

The LITTLE FUJI website is designed and managed using Wix Studio. Wix makes it very easy to build multilingual websites and connect multiple domains to a single website, which has been especially helpful for a move like this.

If you’re also looking to manage a multilingual website or use multiple domains for a single website, I can help you find the right setup using Wix.

Feel free to get in touch!

Time Difference

There was a three-hour time difference between New Zealand and Japan, or four hours during daylight saving time.

Between Australia and Japan, however, the time difference is only one hour, or two hours during daylight saving time!

With almost no time lag, it should also be much easier for me to join online events held in the evening in Japan ('ω')ノ

I was surprised by how much warmer it was when I arrived at Sydney Airport compared with New Zealand. So hot!

What’s Next as a Japanese Wix Web Designer Based in Australia?

It hasn’t even been a month since the move, so things are still a little hectic this month, but I’m planning to return to my usual availability from November.

Recently, I’ve been receiving more enquiries about Wix web design, particularly Japanese-English multilingual website design.

I also run my own Japanese-English multilingual website using Wix, so I’ve been steadily building my experience in creating multilingual websites with Wix.

If you’re Japanese and running a business in Australia, looking to reach audiences both in Japan and overseas, or considering a Wix website in Japanese and English, please feel free to get in touch :)

See my Wix website design projects below👇

  • A responsive website design for Southern Cross Language Institute displayed across laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
  • A responsive website design for TAPI Taiwanese Mandarin Language School displayed on a laptop and smartphone, with pages for pricing, trial lessons and tutors shown in the background.
  • A Japan travel website displayed on a laptop, featuring colourful illustrations of Mount Fuji, a pagoda and a Japanese streetscape, surrounded by Japanese-inspired motifs including waves and a crane.

I can also provide Rive animation, Spline 3D, and graphic design services in both Japanese and English.

Also I'm planning to share more on the blog about food and shopping around Sydney, as well as the differences between life in New Zealand and Australia, so stay tuned!

Having now lived and worked across Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, I hope to continue working globally as a designer, without being limited by country or language, and to take part in a wide variety of projects.

Thank you for your continued support of LITTLE FUJI Design Studio!
