I went and ordered the collab Happy Meal right away, so let me show you the McDonald's-exclusive toy and Pokémon cards I got.

What's Inside the McDonald's x Pokémon Happy Meal (Toys & Pokémon Cards)
This time, the collab is the toy that comes with the Happy Meal. You get a miniature Happy Meal box toy themed on a Pokémon, plus 2 Pokémon TCG cards.
These mini boxes are so cute! The handle on top is subtly designed like the McDonald's one. My all-time favourite, Ditto, isn't in the lineup, so personally I'm hoping for Pikachu, Espurr or Umbreon…! They're all adorable though!
There are 15 Pokémon cards in total, all randomly packed, and 7 of them seem to be holo cards. For the cards, I want Mimikyu, Chandelure, Pikachu and Jirachi!
The Happy Meal itself also comes in a special Pokémon box, which is random from 3 designs: Pikachu, Umbreon and Torchic.
The Pokémon Happy Meal is available for a limited time while stocks last at participating McDonald's, so if you want the collab items, head to Macca's early (っ'-')╮=͟͞ ●
*Only in Quebec, Canada, the mini Happy Meal box toy is not available. Instead, it looks like you get 4 Pokémon cards
I Ordered One! The Toy and Pokémon Cards I Got (at a Sydney Store)
About a day after the collab started, I went to a McDonald's in Sydney!
By the way, in Australia, McDonald's is called "Macca's".
In Japan, collabs and events with popular characters often mean crowds before the store even opens, and you hear a lot about scalping problems in the news lately. But the Macca's I went to in Sydney wasn't especially busy.
Some stores don't seem to offer Happy Meals, so I recommend checking in advance through the McDonald's app (in Australia, My Macca's) whether you can order one.
There were about 4 kinds of Happy Meals, and I went with the chicken wrap one.
My Happy Meal box was Pikachu! So cute.

The Pikachu ears pop out from the side of the box, and once you slot them into the cuts on top, your Pikachu is complete.
I sneaked a peek at the counter, and the store I went to seemed to only have Pikachu boxes in stock. Maybe each store has different designs?
Sadly, my Pikachu box got a little squashed. It had fries in it too, so keeping the box looks tricky either way.

And the most important part, the toy inside was…
The mini Happy Meal box was Squirtle, and the Pokémon cards were Wooloo and Lucario! And Lucario was a holo card ✨

Once I got home, I put the Pokémon cards straight into sleeves to keep them safe.
The mini box is really tiny and fits in the palm of your hand, so cute!

Is the McDonald's x Pokémon Happy Meal collab running in your country?
If it is, make sure to go during the collab period :)
